The SKG-1 leakage control signalling device (hereinafter referred to as the signalling device) is designed for continuous leakage control of start-up and reception units of cleaning and diagnostic devices of the linear part of oil and product pipelines and shut-off valves adjacent to them.
The principle of operation of the signalling device is based on the reception and registration of continuous ultrasonic noise resulting from the flow of liquid under pressure from the hole. At the moment of leakage detection near the place of installation of the signalling device sensor, the latter forms a corresponding signal in the line connecting the sensor with the power supply and registration unit, and the power supply and registration unit forms a signal in the ACS line, fixing the fact of leakage detection.
The SCG-1 signalling device can be used as a flow sensor to control the operation of the overpressure relief valve in the Pressure Wave Smoothing System (PWS).
