The ultrasonic DFX liquid flow transducers are designed for high-precision measurements of volumetric flow rate and volume of oil and petroleum products in pipelines, as well as for use as part of reference flow measuring installations, verification measuring complexes. The principle of operation of DFX is based on measuring the time of ultrasonic pulses passage in the moving liquid in the direction of movement and against it.
The difference of these times is proportional to the average velocity of the fluid flow rate. The DP consists of the following main parts: primary transducer; electronic unit.
DFX type flowmeters measure by non-contact method, using ultrasonic radiation. Absence of moving elements in their flowing part, in contact with the measured medium, provides a long service life without repair.
