Metro cars of models 81-775, 81-776, 81-777 formed in a permanent formation with a through passage along the whole train are designed for passenger carriage, with passengers' exit to high platforms when operating in tunnels and on open sections of operating metro lines.
The train has the following basic configuration of the formation of eight cars:
gMGx - xNPg - gMPx - xMPg - gMPx - xMPg - gNPx - xMGg, where:
- MG - head model 81-775 metro car;
- NP - trailing metro car of 81-777 model;
- MP - intermediate motor metro car of 81-776 model;
- d - head part of the car;
- x - tail part of the car.
The variants of formation of the train of 7, 6, 5 and 4 cars are allowed (thus in the train of 6, 5 and 4 cars there should be two head motor cars MG and not more than one trailing non-motor car NP)..
