Description of measuring instrument
The measuring principle of KTM600 RUS gas meters (hereinafter referred to as meters) is based on the measurement of ultrasonic pulse transit time difference. Receiving units are installed on both sides of the pipeline at a certain angle to the flow. The transceiver units have piezoelectric transducers of ultrasound, working alternately as a receiver and transmitter. The sound pulses are sent at an angle to the direction of the gas flow.
