The gas fire extinguishing unit is designed for extinguishing fires of classes A, B and E in closed volumes, including motor, battery, electrical and aggregate compartments of vehicles (including water). The unit consists of a polymer tube filled with liquefied gas extinguishing agent (GEA), to which can be connected starting devices, control devices and additional cylinder(s) with GEA. All these elements can be used separately with preservation of their properties.
The installation combines simultaneously three methods of start-up - from the automatic signal, from the operator's signal, autonomously in case of open flame and reaching the critical temperature. The starting device and the control device are powered from a DC source of 12V, 5A. In the absence of power supply (breakdown of starting and control devices) autonomous properties are preserved.
Can be mounted at any stage of operation of the object or vehicle.
