The converter provides conversion of DC voltage 87...142 V into AC voltage with adjustable frequency.
IF-18-U1 is installed on passenger cars manufactured by GDR factory "Ammen-Dorf" during their overhaul and modernisation at Voronezh and Tambov car repair plants for power supply of climatic installation "BSC" (Baltic Air Conditioning Systems) and "DOCON" (Domodedovo air conditioners). Structurally, the converter is designed as a small-sized unit with liquid cooling and a sliding part, which provides convenience in maintenance and repair.
