Extrusion polystyrene foam is produced by extrusion method, it is obtained by mixing polystyrene granules at high temperature and pressure with the introduction of foaming agent and subsequent extrusion from the extruder. High-quality extrusion polystyrene foam has a uniform, closed-porous structure with a cell diameter of 0.1-0.2 mm.
Extrusion polystyrene foam has low thermal conductivity at 10±0,3°C not more than 0,034 W/m?K, minimum water absorption for 24 hours not more than 0,5 % by volume, low density 20-53 kg/m3.
The service life of the material is comparable to the service life of the whole building, in quality manufacturers it is more than 50 years.
