The posts are designed for operation in electrical control circuits
in hazardous areas of all classes of chemical, oil refining, gas and other industries (explosion protection marking 1Ex d IIB T5 Gb/Ex tb IIIC T95°C Db).
They are used for remote control of electromagnetic devices (starters, contactors) of alternating and direct current, as well as in signalling circuits.
