They are designed to work as a shut-off device with remote electric and local manual control of the flow of liquid, viscous and gaseous media (including compressed natural gas) in pipelines.
They are used at oil depots and refineries to fulfil safety requirements, provide quick emergency shut-off of pipelines in stationary technological systems with oil and light petroleum products. They are used in metering units, railway and road tanker loading/unloading systems, in oil heating furnaces to cut off gas supplied to burners, in technological systems of CNG filling stations, CNG filling stations and various other installations for storage, transportation and supply of compressed natural gas.
Preferential application: crude and commercial oil; light oil products; natural gas; nitrogen; carbon dioxide; inert gases; fuel gas; associated petroleum gas with hydrogen sulphide content not more than 6%; oxygen; hydrogen; methanol; hot water; saturated steam, etc..
