The traction motor excitation current regulator of DRP-300/300 type is designed for automatic stepless regulation of excitation current of two groups of traction motors of metro cars in braking mode.
The regulator is used both on newly developed and in-service cars of 81-714, 81-717 series and their modifications instead of obsolete thyristor regulator of excitation current RT-300/300 and is characterised by improved mass and dimensional characteristics, simplified design, lower maintenance costs.
