GX-P001.2-2M is designed for on-line determination of hydrogen and hydrocarbon component composition in automatic mode during gas logging in the field. The gas-air mixture obtained during degassing of drilling mud involved in the process of drilling for oil and gas is analysed. The components to be analysed include hydrogen, methane, ethane, propane, isobutane, butane, isopentane and pentane. The gas analyser can be manually fed with a sample of the gas mixture to be analysed.
The gas analyser is used as part of gas logging stations and GTI stations used in oil and gas drilling.
The operating principle of the product is based on the method of gas-liquid chromatography. Gas-air mixture from the degasser under pressure of carrier gas (air) from the dosing tap passes through the column filled with a special sorbent treated with liquid phase. Due to different sorption rates of the analysed components, they are retained in the column for different times.
