Chip conveyors (hereinafter referred to as the conveyor) are designed to move waste material from the working area of machine tools to the area where it can be processed, disposed of or recycled. The conveyor includes a receiving section, a diverting section, hermetically connected with each other, forming a single container, into which the chain mechanism with tracks, conveyor belt and drive mechanism are driven. The receiving part of the conveyor, has an opening into which the chips are dumped onto the conveyor belt. Besides, this part of the conveyor is a tank for coolant and is separated from the tank, located in the outlet section, by a partition with a mesh, which is a coarse filter. The coolant bath has a sump with a cover on which the pump is installed. On the side wall of the bath there are two indicators of coolant level and a plug for draining the liquid. The chain movement is carried out from the motor-reducer, the output shaft of which is the driving shaft of the conveyor.
