It is a cotton bleached fabric of a sparse plain weave. Medical bleached gauze is characterised by tensile strength, high hygroscopicity, softness. The ways of its use are diverse: gauze is used as a dressing material, as a semi-finished product for the manufacture of bandages and napkins, as an absorbent material.
