Yes. Street, industrial and commercial fixtures come with IES or LDT photometric files measured in accredited laboratories, so your designer can model the installation in DIALux or Relux before ordering. Suppliers will also run the calculation for you if you send road geometry or hall dimensions — a free service on serious volume enquiries.
•How do these fixtures handle unstable voltage and power surges?
This is a core design requirement in the home market. Drivers typically accept wide input ranges and fixtures for street use are offered with built-in surge protection of 4–10 kV. If your grid suffers regular spikes or sags, state it in the request — suppliers will specify driver and SPD options accordingly rather than quoting the base model.
•What warranty applies and how are failures handled at distance?
Street and industrial lines typically carry 3–5 year warranties, written into the contract. Practical handling: failed units are diagnosed by photo and serial number, and replacements or repair components ship with the next order. For municipal lots, agree a small on-site spare stock — 1–2 percent of fixtures — as part of the delivery.
•Are explosion-proof fixtures certified for oil and gas sites?
Explosion-proof LED fixtures carry Ex certification under EAEU technical regulation TR CU 012, with zone classes and protection types marked on the housing. The 123 listings here cover zones for gas and dust atmospheres. Check with your site operator whether EAEU Ex certificates are accepted directly or require local validation — practice varies by country.
•What is the realistic landed lead time for a street lighting project?
Stock models ship in 1–2 weeks; project quantities with specific optics, brackets and surge options are produced in 3–6 weeks. Add 7–14 days by truck to Central Asia, or 25–45 days by sea to the Gulf, Africa or Latin America. For phased municipal projects, suppliers schedule monthly shipments against an annual contract.
•Can fixtures be supplied under our brand for the local market?
Private labelling is widely available: your logotype on the housing, packaging and documentation, usually from a few hundred units per model. The EAC certification stays in the manufacturer's name, and warranty obligations are defined between you and the factory in the supply contract, so the arrangement remains clean for customs and after-sales.
