Machines can be delivered with preinstalled Linux distributions, with a licensed OS of your choice arranged separately, or with no OS at all — many institutional buyers image systems themselves. Confirm driver availability for your chosen OS at order stage; suppliers test configurations before shipment.
•Can configurations be customised for a tender we are bidding?
Yes — build-to-order is the standard model. Send the tender's minimum specifications (CPU class, RAM, storage, ports, monitor size) and the integrator returns a compliant configuration with a datasheet you can submit in your bid. Identical-batch assembly and serial number lists are provided for fleet deliveries.
•How do rugged and industrial PCs differ from office models here?
Industrial units use fanless or filtered cooling, wider operating temperature ranges, dust and vibration protection and long-availability components, which suits factory floors, transport sites and hot climates. They cost more than office desktops but significantly outlast them in harsh conditions — specify your environment and suppliers will recommend the right class.
•What warranty applies to exported computers?
Typical factory warranty is 12 to 36 months depending on the line. For overseas buyers, the practical arrangement is component-level support: the supplier ships replacement parts (boards, drives, power supplies) and your technicians swap them, with remote diagnostics assistance. Extended spare kits can be included with fleet orders.
•What is the typical lead time for a 100-unit fleet order?
Assembly of a configured batch usually takes 3 to 6 weeks depending on component availability, plus delivery. Air freight makes sense for compact mini-PC or thin-client fleets; desktop and monitor fleets travel by truck to Central Asia or by sea to other regions, adding two to six weeks.
