الأسئلة الشائعة

How is glass packed to survive a 40-day sea voyage?
Plants pack export glass vertically in braced wooden crates or steel A-frames, with cork or foam separators between sheets and desiccant inside the wrapping. Crates are rated for port handling, and a transit breakage allowance of 2–3 percent is standard in contracts. Insurance against breakage is normally arranged when buying on CIF terms.
Can insulated glass units be made to my window schedule?
Yes. IGU lines assemble units to individual dimension lists, with your choice of glass combination, spacer width, gas filling and edge sealant. You send a cutting schedule in a spreadsheet; the plant confirms feasibility of each line, quotes per unit and labels every IGU with its position number for site logistics.
What performance data is available for solar control glass?
Coated products come with measured light transmission, solar factor, reflectance and U-value figures, plus durability classification of the coating. For facade projects, suppliers can provide samples of 200 by 300 mm or larger so your consultant can verify colour rendering and reflectivity under local light before committing to volume.
What is the usual minimum order for export glass?
Economics favour full crates: roughly 2–4 tonnes per position and around 20 tonnes per 20-foot container. Mixed containers combining float, tempered and coated glass from one plant are common. Cut-to-size and IGU orders are quoted by area, typically from 100–200 square metres per specification.
Is tempered glass certified for safety applications?
Tempered glass is tested under GOST 30698 for fragmentation and mechanical strength, and laminated glass under GOST 30826, which parallels EN 12150 and EN 14449 requirements. Test protocols and EAC conformity documents ship with the cargo and are generally accepted for tender pre-qualification, with local re-testing possible where regulators require it.
